Online Retailer that sucks BIG TIME!!!! BUYERS BE WARNED!!! MIA! Empty Promises!
I came across this site (www.sacfetish.com) online for their wide range of Trench Coat or Winter Wears that were reasonably priced compared to many retail shops here in Singapore. So with the convenience of a SMS number (Oh this number can only sms, cannot call directly), I sms the owner of SACFETISH if the order will be in time to deliver for my 27th Dec Holiday. She replied very quickly that it will not be a problem and I quickly placed an order with a 50% deposit on the 9th Dec. Here is a list of events that happened after the order was placed.

50% deposit was made via Bank Transfer.
19th Dec 2009
An email from SAC that my item has arrived & orders will be send out the next day after balance payment is made. I request for SAC to arrange for a Meet-Up instead as I do not want any further hiccups due to the festive period. And a Meet-Up was set on the 22th Dec. Super close to the holidays. Meet-Up instruction is simple, 22th, 6pm at Punggol MRT and look out for a white car with car plate 7311. No contact number still. Just a SMS no.

5.45pm : I sms the seller that I was at Punggol PLAZA & where exactly should I spot the white car (about 50% spore cars are white). No respond.
6.15pm : I SMS again and still no respond. I feel like speaking to the WALL! The stupid number is only for SMS only and there are no reply??? Tried to call but it just gets cut off...
7.18pm : I THEN REALIZED I AM AT THE WRONG LOCATION & I ADMIT ITS MY FAULT and by the time I reach the MRT, the white car is gone and I desperately SMS again that I will be hanging around Buangkok Area till about 9pm. Still no respond for the freaking SMS. I was with a friend who does online store too and she ask why the seller did not bother to call the buyer if there were some delay???? And the person holding the Freaking SMS phone could have just inform the person waiting for me that I am late or at the wrong place???

Sms them early in the morning 3 more times and STILL no responses until an email at 2.38pm. The email mentioned that the staff of SAC waited for me for about half an hour and just left the place when she cannot see me. She did not even bother to call SAC to find out the buyer's contact or when you do Meet-Ups, you don't even know who you are meeting or have proper buyer's detail attached to the sale item??? Worst was the Seller is going on holiday on the 23rd (which is the same day as the email) and she requested me to pay another $8.15 for courier service to have the item delivered to my door by the next day before 6pm which is already Xmas Eve. I quickly transfered the courier fees without any hesitation since its my fault that I went to the wrong place. After my bank transfer, I send SAC an email with my mailing address (just in case its wrong) and request for the courier details and tracing no. I even back up with a SMS in case she missed it again. All these was completed by 4pm. So finger crossed...
AND I never heard from SAC since (Owner of SAC is happily going on a trip till 10th Jan).... NO Email, NO sms replies, NO Courier Contact or NO Tracing no. Nothing. According to SAC website, courier service stated should be Speedpost but without the tracking no. I cannot track if there was really a delivery. There were people in the house from the whole of Xmas Eve and even if the courier did come & we missed it, shouldn't there be a consignment note??
If Sellers are so busy packing for their own personal trip then don't promised your buyers that you can make it in time. Even if you have to leave, you should have get help from friends or staffs to make sure your deliveries make it in time as promised. This is totally IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!
I have no choice but to find alternatives for my trip and left with no more faith in ONLINE Shopping! I need to warn people of these black sheeps! Empty Promises!
And again I ADMIT IT WAS MY MISTAKE TO GET THE MEET UP POINT WRONG & WILLINGLY PAY FOR THE EXTRA COURIER FEES... BUT WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MY ITEM NOW? I NEEDED THE TRENCH COAT FOR MY TRIP AND IF I WERE TO GET IT NOW AFTER MY TRIP, DO YOU THINK I STILL NEED IT???

We certainly appreciate your thoughtful feedback and will address to this issue to prevent it from happening in further.
We definitely could have avoided this issue if we were more alert.

As per above mentioned, we have investigated and confirmed that we have liaise accordingly and promptly to you even while we were away for our 3 weeks break. We went through all conversation (E-mails and SMS correspondences) and we are sure that we have addressed to your unhappiness accordingly earlier in January 2010. We regret that it didn’t please you but you sure do have every right to share your bad experience with the netizens.
However, if it’s not too much for us to ask for, we do certainly hope that you could kindly take note once again that we weren’t being inform at all in regards to your personal dateline from the very start. We always do all possible to expedite our customers’ orders whenever upon request.
We hope that you have read our F.A.Q and Ordering information to realize that we have been following all purchasing terms as per we have stated.
We would appreciate that you could E-mail or SMS (traceable form of conversations) directly if you feel the need for a further justice.
